Knowledge Level also known as Applied Knowledge level, consists of 3 exams which trains the students with the foundation level in accounting and finance

Exam has two sections: Section A of the exam comprises 20 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each. Section B of the exam comprises three 10 mark questions and two 15 mark questions.
Skill Level also known as Applied Skills level, consists of 6 exams which examines the principal technical subjects in advance.

The ACCA syllabus consists of 13 exams divided into 3 levels,
1- Applied Knowledge level – 3 exams
2- Applied Skills level- 6 exams
3- Strategic Professional level – 4 exams
Besides completing 3 ACCA levels, one must also undertake a quick online self-learning course in Ethics from ACCA and complete a supervised internship of 3 years, referred to as the Practical Experience Requirement (PER) in ACCA.
On an average, you can clear the exams in just 2-3 years.The actual duration will depend on exemptions (if any) received.
The exams for the first 4 ACCA Papers are on demand and can be taken anytime during the year whereas for the next 9 papers, ACCA exams happen 4 times in a year. These 4 exam slots are – March, June, September & December every year
Students who have completed their 10+2 with a score of 65 per cent in English and Mathematics/Accounts and Minimum 50 per cent in other courses , or any those with higher qualifications such as graduates, Bcom, BBA, M.Com, MBA can get entry into ACCA.

ACCA awards exemptions to qualifications offered to those who have Foundation degrees, Bachelor degrees, Postgraduate qualifications, and Professional qualifications.
A 10+2 student has to attend the 13 papers. There will be no papers exempt.
A commerce graduate or post graduate has to attend 9 papers. BT, MA, FA, LW papers will be exempt.
A CA IPCC cleared student has to attend 8 papers. BT, MA, FA, TX, AA papers will be exempt.
